Someone paid 10,000 bitcoin for two pizzas. We offered bitcoin too. The pizzeria wanted cash.

What happened

The committee ordered two pizzas and insisted on paying in bitcoin. The pizzeria had never heard of it and, after a 40-minute negotiation, accepted drink tokens instead. The committee has done the maths every year since and prefers not to discuss it. The pizzas were excellent, and nobody added glue.
