What happened
The committee hung 32 identical paintings of a Frittatensuppe and sold them for 32 schillings each. The paintings sold out and the soup went uneaten. Andy Warhol, the guest of honor, bought three and asked whether they came in bulk. One of them was resold in 2021 as an NFT of a photograph of itself.
